Saint Patrick is the patron of all Irishmen, whether they live in the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Wales, Scotland or the United States. He converted the pagan Gaelic tribes to Christianity in the 5th century AD. To this day March 17 is a reason for Irish people around the world to celebrate in memory of St. Patrick.
