Easter Bunny in Rocking Chair

Step into the charming world of traditional Erzgebirge Easter craftsmanship with the Easter Bunny in Rocking Chair, a beautifully handcrafted wooden figure created by our FRIEND partner Gahlenz. This delightful bunny is shown seated comfortably in a classic dark wooden rocking chair, creating a peaceful and homely scene full of character. Dressed in a light blue shirt and green trousers, he brings a calm and cheerful presence to any Easter or spring display. His long ears, friendly facial expression, and natural wood tones reflect the unmistakable charm of Gahlenz’s traditional bunny figures.

In his hands, the bunny holds an open newspaper, suggesting a quiet and relaxing moment of reading. This thoughtful detail gives the figure a warm, storytelling quality and makes it especially appealing as part of a decorative spring arrangement. The combination of the rocking chair, relaxed pose, and reading scene creates a figure that feels both playful and full of personality.

Crafted from wood and colorfully finished in the Erzgebirge, this Easter figure is made using traditional woodworking techniques and careful attention to detail. The seated posture and carefully designed accessories make the Easter Bunny in Rocking Chair a distinctive addition to shelves, mantels, tables, or other seasonal displays. Whether displayed on its own or combined with other traditional Easter bunny figures, it brings a cozy and whimsical touch to your Easter décor.

This figure is manufactured by our FRIEND Gahlenz. STEINBACH Volkskunst offers this unique piece in its online shop but does not manufacture the item itself.

Whether displayed throughout the Easter season or enjoyed as part of a year-round collection of traditional German wooden folk art, the Easter Bunny in Rocking Chair brings springtime charm, handcrafted detail, and the unmistakable character of Erzgebirge folk art into your home.
