Smoker Sorceress

Bring a magical touch to traditional Erzgebirge craftsmanship with the Incense Smoker – Sorceress, a beautifully handcrafted wooden figure created by our FRIEND partner Gahlenz. Dressed in a deep blue robe and matching pointed hat decorated with golden stars and crescent moons, this enchanting character combines classic wooden folk art with a playful fantasy theme.

The sorceress holds a magic wand in one hand and carries a small spell book in the other, while a decorative white cord around her waist completes her distinctive outfit. Her rosy cheeks, expressive painted face, glossy black shoes, and carefully applied golden details give the figure a charming and whimsical personality. The rich midnight-blue color and celestial motifs make her especially eye-catching among traditional incense smokers.

Designed as a traditional Räuchermann, or incense smoker, the figure can be used with suitable incense cones to create a cozy fragrance and atmospheric display. As the incense burns inside the wooden body, the smoke gently escapes through the figure’s mouth, bringing the Incense Smoker – Sorceress magically to life.

Crafted from wood and colorfully finished in the Erzgebirge, this figure reflects traditional woodworking techniques and careful attention to detail. Whether displayed during the Christmas season, as part of a fantasy-themed collection, or alongside other traditional Gahlenz incense smokers, the sorceress adds imagination, color, and distinctive handcrafted charm to your décor.

This figure is manufactured by our FRIEND Gahlenz. STEINBACH Volkskunst offers this unique piece in its online shop but does not manufacture the item itself.

Whether enjoyed during the holiday season or collected year-round as part of a traditional German wooden folk-art collection, the Incense Smoker – Sorceress brings magical character, fine craftsmanship, and the unmistakable spirit of Erzgebirge tradition into your home.

Handmade in Germany by our FRIEND Gahlenz.
