Steinbach Star (Set of 3) - Lady Liberty

The Statue of Liberty is THE symbol of the USA. It stands for political education and democracy. Every ship arriving in New York has to pass the island with the "Statue of Liberty". It adorns our 1st edition of the Steinbach star, which we created on the occasion of Independence Day.

Our home area, the Ore Mountains, was not only characterized from the art of wood. Also mining has left deep marks until today. The light was very important to the mineworker. Dark mine tunnels and little daylight led to the fact that many houses were brightly lit, especially at Christmas time. Lovingly decorated windows adorned the small villages everywhere. This atmospheric tradition has held up to the present day and is cultivated - not only in the Ore Mountains. Our stars are built in the shape of Moravian stars, famous all over Germany and also cross-border.

Our Steinbach stars are available as a set of 3 pieces. A Steinbach star consists of a total of 12 tips (cones). The star is made of thick paper that allows the light to shine through diffusely. The cable is 7.2 foot long and one LED is included. It works with batteries and has an automatic timer for switching on and off  It has a diameter of approx. 7 inch. This "Echt Erzgebirge" product is lovingly handcrafted in Marienberg.
