Easter Bunny Mother with Child

Step into the cheerful world of traditional Erzgebirge Easter craftsmanship with the Easter Bunny Mother with Child, a beautifully handcrafted wooden figure created by our FRIEND partner Gahlenz. This charming Knickohrhäsin lovingly holds a little bunny child in her arms, creating a warm and tender scene that beautifully captures the spirit of family and springtime.

The mother bunny is dressed in a traditional-style outfit with a bright red skirt, while the little bunny rests securely in a green and white cradle-like wrap decorated with a cheerful yellow accent. The warm natural wood tones, characteristic long ears, friendly expression, and carefully painted details give the composition the unmistakable charm of Gahlenz’s traditional Easter figures.

Crafted from wood and colorfully painted in the Erzgebirge, the Easter Bunny Mother with Child reflects traditional woodworking techniques and careful attention to detail. The affectionate pose and harmonious colors make this figure especially appealing as part of an Easter arrangement, spring display, or collection of traditional Knickohrhasen.

This figure is manufactured by our FRIEND Gahlenz. STEINBACH Volkskunst offers this unique piece in its online shop but does not manufacture the item itself.

Whether displayed throughout the Easter season or enjoyed as part of a year-round collection of traditional German wooden folk art, the Easter Bunny Mother with Child brings warmth, family charm, colorful craftsmanship, and the unmistakable character of Erzgebirge folk art into your home.
