In 2017 we announced a new series, the North American Santa Series. This series takes on this classic holiday icon with a refreshing new design inspired by the beauty of North America. The Steinbach Gingerbread Chef Santa Nutcracker is the 4th of the North American Santa Series. This 18.9 inch gingerbread inspired nutcracker features Santa Claus in a gingerbread suit with details such as peppermint candies, gumdrops and icing and a candy decorated chef hat. In his one hand is a Christmas tree and snowflake gingerbread cookie dangle and in the other is a red and white peppermint candy staff topped with a gingerbread snowflake. At his feet is a basket with a gingerbread bag filled with gingerbread cookies and Christmas sweets. Like all Steinbach creations, this piece is hand crafted in Germany with the finest care and attention to detail.
