Hum 21/III – Christ Child is Coming (red)

He is the guardian of light, carrying it out into the world: our classic angel “Christkindlein kommt” has been cherished since its creation in 1935. This makes the original Hummel figurine one of the very first ever produced in Rödental – a true Hummel classic. The figurine was originally modeled by Reinhold Unger, and in 2016, sculptor Marion Huschka gave it its impressive height of 37 cm.

Just in time for the Christmas season, the Hummel Manufaktur dressed the angel, who so carefully guards his candlelight, in a magnificent red robe. His blonde hair harmonizes beautifully with the lovingly detailed wings. The small stars adorning the angel’s gown make it truly special. For collectors and admirers, the figurine is also available in a stunning blue edition.
